Community Websites for Social, Economic, and Political Regeneration

1. Existing obstacles to achieving genuine freedom.
======================================================
We live in a "democracy" - an artificially created, and easily manipulated, means of fooling the public that government is something they can trust.

Simply because they have on occasions chosen by government voted by means of an illiterates cross for candidates almost all chosen by political parties who have accepted the existing status quo, the public can be duped into believing they actually matter.

The truth becomes obvious the moment anything goes wrong - suddenly there appears an unbridgeable divide between the aggrieved person and the state, and the divide is filled with cold, dark-hearted parasites who suck you dry emotionally and financially.

Beating them is simple, once under way. The inertia lies in the social programming "resistance is futile". There are countless variations on this theme, but you would be surprised how many popular dance music tracks contain these exact words. People who are drunk or drugged, and out partying, are easy to influence.

2. Basic requirements for change
=====================================
a. there is a vast quantity of badly written and poorly co-ordinated information on the internet. So just by providing a simple webpage format within a logically thought out menu system, and making sure that all information is of the highest quality, people's ability to know the truth and act upon it, is dramatically increased.

b. there are vast numbers of idle people who have basic computer skills, who could assist in a project if the data input skills could be taught in, say, 20 minutes. So the coding must be KISS - Keep It Superbly Simple.

c. the webpages do not need to be singing and dancing, with bells and hooters - quality of information is paramount, with brevity and clarity. The page limited to ONE item of information. Anything considerd closely related can have a link to it.

3.
=============================================
What is needed is website for every single community in the UK that covers every possible information requirement. Every page should contain an item of information that is being looked at, and another slice of information telling the truth about some issue that warrants it. Advertising should be no more than a small ( but extremely well designed ) part of the page, and should never be intrusive. All adverts should compliment the page rather than dominate it.

It should be extremely simple to use, so that everyone uses it, so that it becomes indispensible. When enough people use it, big business - although opposed to its aims - would have no choice but to advertise.

This money could then be used to regenerate local politics using the web media as the hub - and totally independent of government.

I have been thinking about this for 12 years, but have yet to find anyone who does anything more than moan.

4. Financing
=================================================
To do it is really quite simple, but it requires a team of dedicated people, and some cash.

Industrial-sized Compaq Proliant computers that cost £20,000 six years ago can be bought for £50. All that is needed is a connection.

The data can be input by means of relatively simple computer programs that run under Microsoft Windows at the command line level. This makes alterations to code fast and cheap ( it cuts out the need for high cost professional web designers who want kudos on their CV by the cutting edge bells and whistles they create ).

Data can be collected as simple .TXT files accessible from both
